گزشتہ جولائی میں ڈیم سائٹ پر ہونے والے دہشت گردانہ حملے میں 10 چینی اور چار پاکستانی شہری ہلاک اور 28 زخمی ہوئے تھے۔انہوں نے کہا کہ چین پاکستان اقتصادی راہداری (سی پی ای سی) وبائی امراض سے پیدا ہونے والے ہیڈ وائنڈ کے خلاف آگے بڑھ رہی ہے۔انہوں نے ان رپورٹس کو مسترد کر دیا جن سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ بیلٹ اینڈ روڈ انیشی ایٹو (بی آر آئی) کے ایک پائلٹ پراجیکٹ سی پیک پر کام گزشتہ ساڑھے تین سالوں میں سست پڑ گیا تھا۔

مسٹر ژاؤ نے کہا کہ CPEC مشترکہ مشاورت اور مشترکہ فوائد کے لیے شراکت کے اصولوں پر عمل پیرا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حال ہی میں، ہم نے صدر پاکستان ڈاکٹر عارف علوی، وزیراعظم عمران خان اور CPEC کے فلیگ شپ منصوبے میں ہونے والی پیش رفت پر کچھ میڈیا کے مثبت تبصرے دیکھے ہیں۔
